Happy Wednesday! Please meet Tubby Boswell Wags.
This little lad was born a few months ago while I was experimenting with some different head sculpts and trying to be a little looser with my designs. (I'm particularly prone to trying too hard to make things perfect and I'm never happy with the results when things get overworked!) Wags just sort of happened and I rather like his odd little look! What do you think? Does he remind you of anyone?
I'm totally in love with vintage Einco Tubby Puppies and Fifi Cats which I discovered just last year so I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a resemblance in little Wags, And I didn't even realize what I was doing! Wow, the subconscious can be quite strong!
If you'd like to see some original Einco cuties, Petit Chaton is a lovely place to see darling pictures of their puppies and kitties. Enjoy!
I'll leave you with a few more photos of Mr. Tubby Boswell Wags.
Oh Louisa...He is just so sweet. What a cute little thing. You are like me...everything has to be just so...why do we put ourselves through that agony?! Your loosy-goosy way with him worked out so well!

Even if we are old already there remain the certain fondness for stuffed toys. I still collect them up to now. I love your creations and would like to add one for my collection.
